7Mn15Cr2Al3V2WMo non-magnetic die steel
7Mn15Cr2Al3V2WMo steel is a high Mn-V system magnetic steel. The steel can maintain stable austenite in various states, with very low magnetic conductivity, high hardness, strength and good wear resistance.
Standard Specification (GB/T1299-2014)
Note: ① Relative permeability is less than 1.01; (2) Do not detect the surface decarbonization layer.
Processing performance
It is difficult to cut high manganese steel because of cold working hardening. The size, shape and distribution of carbide particles can be changed by high temperature annealing process, so the cutting performance of steel can be
improved obviously.
Heat treatment and hardness
Recommended heat treatment: 1170℃ ~ 1190℃ solution, water cooling; Aged at 650℃ ~ 700℃, air-cooled. Hardness: ≥45HRC. Using gas soft nitriding technology can further improve the surface hardness of steel, increase wear resistance, significantly improve the service life of parts.

applications
7Mn15Cr2Al3V2WMo steel is suitable for manufacturing non-magnetic molds, non-magnetic bearings and other structural parts requiring no magnetic induction in a strong magnetic field. In addition, due to the high temperature strength and hardness of the steel, it can also be used to manufacture hot work molds used at 700~800℃.
